Slowly beneath the thin layer of velvet there was movement. Her eyes fluttered open, glazed over by her fatigue, she barely catches on her surroundings. Her silver eyes threaten to close again, but she forces them open, to realize she is on stranger grounds. It took her a few minutes to understand she no longer was close to home. Her head snaps side to side, to take in better her surroundings, no danger lurks for now. Quickly she pushes her sore body off the ground, in a swift motion she rises to her legs. Her skin tingles as snow rolls of her pearly silver coat. She shakes to remove any more debris that may cling to her body. She side steps to test her legs, they almost gave out from her straining effort. From her flaring nose escapes a snort, angered she can barely remember last night.

What had gone so wrong for her to en up here? In this land where no smells ring a bell and she feels as if she’s stalked. Her skin ripples with shivers at the very though a predator would be waiting for a weakness in her. She decides to push her legs even if they threaten to buck underneath her. Her trot is unbalanced and wavering from her missing strength, hooves traces are left in the snow. She moves closer to a sort of cleared place, everything is so new but still very beautiful painted in white. The deep green pine trees that towered up to the sky, it keeps her somewhat shielded from the sun. She even enjoys the cold breeze that caresses her body, cut and bruises smudging it. She moves closer to a tree and leans against it, helping her from collapsing.

She closes her eyes and trying to find a link in her memories, some truth. She finds on the rims of her mind a dark face, one of a stallion that she does not recognize. Slowly last night unravels it self like a red carpet. He, what ever was his name, chased her like a creature hungry for fresh meat. His words echoing faintly about force breeding and murder, he had wanted to take her for his and she refused. The chase had been laborious and straining, but she had gained enough space for him to give up. Then everything else was blurry and incoherent, maybe later on will she find truth. She slowly pushes off the tree, lifting her nose to seek something familiar. Her lips twitch as her mouth waters and waits for the taste. She walks slowly, the pain in her body refusing any sort of fast paste movements. Her eyes dart around and her ears swivel, keeping her self alert for any surprises. The river up ahead made her heart skip a beat, the joy warming her cold body.

She lowers her head at the edge of the river, where ice did not cover it. Danger seems not at her doorstep for the moment, so without further due, her lips collide with the cold water. The water runs down her throat, it burns like a hot iron but she needs it. Closing her eyes hard, she endures the pain until it slowly vanishes and she takes her fill of much needed water. She pulls back up, returning her head to its length and now watches. Alone without any herd or friends, she is venerable to any sort of predators, even her kind. Stallions always seemed like the worst of the lot; they are greedy and want to take away everything. Her silvers eyes search for any soul that could keep her from being vulnerable; her injuries would heal but not alone.

* A-mazing story! It's a long time ago I did write something in English, so I can already tell you I can't match your level, but I'm gonna try it anyway, hehe

Slowly, the golden coloured stallion walked through the woods. His eyes helt the perfect balance between green and blue and flashed continuously across the trees. It had nothing to do with nervousness, it was just his ancient wary mind, which was telling him to never, ever, let his guard down. Especially in a forest like this one, you could never be sure you were safe. Not even on the brightest day, let alone on a dark nightfall like this one. The beaming blue light of the moon was cold and made him feel uncomfortable. Although he was known to be a warrior, he was smart enough to know when he should be careful. This was, absolutely, one of these days.

When his sensitive ears catched a small sound, his head snatched up. Quickly he scanned his environment, but he couldn't find traces of any other horses … or other creatures. Maybe the wind was working in his disadvantage, maybe the smell of the horse was blown away already, far before he could catch it. Maybe. But maybe not. It also might be a shade, hiding in the dark shadows between the trees: ready to attack and kill him quick and efficient. But, even with the moon very bright blue, a shade should probably look for an easier kill. Something, or someone, who wouldn't have the possibility to win, if they did fight back. If.

Another sound attracted his attention. This time he did realize he recognized the soft, rippling sound of water. So, after all, there was probably a horse very close. He shifted his position back to the dark shadows of the trees and looked for his way to the small creek. A pearly white, finely shaped mare, catched his eye. She was a pretty little thing to see: black legs, mane and tail contrasted well with her blank white coat. He also noticed her eyes were a very light shade of grey, almost silver. Very, very interesting to look at, almost hypnotic. The other thing he noticed that she was moving very carefully, almost like all of her body was bruised. Although he didn't see any injuries, he knew that she still could be dangerously hurt.

'Don't you think it is too dangerous for a pretty thing like you, to be alone out here?' His voice was soft and friendly. He didn't try to become friends with her, but he also didn't want to scare her. If she was new here, and she probably was, than she didn't know she was in great danger when she was alone. As one of the main protectors of the herd of the blue moon horses it was his duty to take take care of her – and he would. 'I would be honoured if I could escort you to the other horses. It is just a short trip and I would feel a lot better if you were safe.' He showed her a quick smile and looked her for a second or two in the eyes. If they were somewhere else, if it was another time and place, he would have probably looked longer at her. But here he needed all of his senses to ensure him of their safety.
