Ik denk dat Nederlanders voldoende Engels kunnen om het concept te begrijpen. Als je dan de Nederlandse beschrijvingen in een apart topic zet moet het geen probleem zijn. Ik bedoel, wij krijgen nog Engels op school, zij krijgen helemaal geen Nederlands.

Daar sluit ik mij volledig bij aan, en daarnaast is bmh ook veel aantrekkelijker op internationaal gebied.

Ik vind dat heel BMH zich al zoveel heeft aangepast voor de buitenlandse RPG'ers dat het navigeren over de site wel te doen moét zijn. Misschien de RPG gebieden in het engels doen, dat kan er op zich wel bij, maar aan de andere kant: Die staan ook in het Engels op de Map.

Daarbij zijn er moderators die verdere vragen prima kunnen beantwoorden aangezien het hele team ongeveer wel engels kan.
En; hoe internationaal wil je gaan? Wil je de hele site uiteindelijk engels maken? Of blijven de Nederlandse mensen de hoofdgroep voor wie de site bedoeld is?
Ik heb na wat denken toch voor Nederlands gekozen. Er zijn genoeg Engelse RPG sites te vinden en daarnaast maar een handjevol lopende Nederlandse role play games. Als Engelse RPG'ers er écht zoveel moeite mee hebben - en dit gaat heel bot klinken, maar zo bedoel ik het absoluut niet - kunnen ze beter een écht 100% Engelse RPG zoeken.
Nogmaals: Ik vind het hartstikke gezellig, echt, maar niet iedereen zal het daarmee eens zijn. Zelfs al zeggen mensen het niet, er zal echt wel een groep zijn die het hier niet mee eens is, maar niets van zich laat horen.

Engels ik heel handig maar zou niet alles in het engels zetten, als er meer en meer buitenlandse rpg'ers gaan komen denk ik dat sommigen misschien wel zouden afhaken.
Ik zou het een deel engels en een deel nederlands houden.

Al bij al blijft het een Nederlandse RPG en er is al zo veel engels geworden, daarom heb ik ook voor Nederlands gekozen

No phan it's not like that.
Personally I just don't like the english part, not because of the people, but because of the changes we need to make. I heard there are also going to be english shades so than we all need to rpg in english when there is a shade meeting... It's very exhausting and it takes a lot of effort. I choose to not rpg in English because blue moon horses is something to relax after school. I can't relax if I need to rpg in English, it makes me tired to look up all the words and think that much.

I like the people, but not the English RPG. It's like Nikki said: there are enough English rpg's, does this site really need to get English too? More and more english players are comming and I feel like there are two different groups of RPGers only because of that. Not everyone has the inspiration or skills to RP in English, including me.

(Im sorry if this sounds rude, I'm not trying to, I don't know when I'm rude in English and when I'm not haha :p)

For me personal I want it to stay most in dutch just because it was original dutch. Call me old fashion but jeah, that's just the way I see it, though I actually like almost everything better in English. (:

You know I love you Phan Q - Q But put yourself in our shoes, we have only 2 active horse RPG - the one totally different from the other - too choose from. Is it really too much too ask to keep this one for most part dutch?

I already need 1 hour at least to write a reply in dutch, imagine what that would be like in english. Even though I know a lot of words and grammar, it wouldn't be the same for me since I know my way around the dutch words and am able to write good posts in my own language. For english... It just get so much more complicated. If I want to RP english, I would rather do that on an english RPG.

I think it should be both, since I can read dutch too, since I'm from germany (most of it anyways) but for the english players here it is just easier, I mean most of the dutch people know english, I know english and to read it is for me a lot easier than to read dutch.

I understand your problem, while you want to keep this forum dutch, so I recommend just doing both, or write at least a smaller description in english. If you want I could help too with the english anyways. I'm sure some people at least will be willing to lend a hand, then i understand that it must be a lot of work.

But I voted Dutch. I dunno.. This is originally made as a Dutch rp, and I see it's becoming more English with the time, so I don't really agree with making those discriptions English acually..

I doubt there are only 2 Dutch roleplay sites on
entire internet, guys...but in the end it's Ali's site and
she elected to allow English players to come play too.
I myself have NEVER roleplayed before! I have tried
numerous different sites, but they just aren't as welcoming and
active as this place. I loved this place from the start, because
it was so open to equality and because it was where all my friends
were, and they just happened to be Dutch friends...

There's no big deal with simply letting everything be in
both languages, honestly. An English shade can post in English
so that English rp'ers can rp, and then Dutch ones should be
able to reply to a English post in Dutch if they need to, seriously.
Are we all so lazy that we can't copy and paste the foreign language
post into a translator? That's not nearly as much work.

I get where you guys are coming from...but if you're not willing
to adapt to let us feel at home here too, what was the point
of bothering to allow us in, really?
