The dog passed that preliminary tests for child compatibility. The thing is that these moments of aggression are random and unpredictable which is a no no. They got the dog about a week ago and started doing these things yesterday. My sister has already been bitten by a dog in the past because of this so my mom is not taking any more risks.

Oh my mom knows good dog breeds. She is involved in the dog community. She just likes giving everyone a chance and it had Labrador in it so, yeah.
My mom is allergic to cats and she doesn't like how rodents smell. I suggested a reptile of some sort like a gecko. She might get a fish or something. My sister really wants a pet :\

My mom is going to wait a while because they can't be bringing dogs back and forth. Like, my sister legit freaked out when mom took the dog back. She was crying loudly for over a half an hour saying 'I will always love you Cookie' and 'I will always miss you Cookie.' My sister is very sensitive. They had only had the dog for a few days and she was that attached. This is a serious issue for her.
